RoboCon 2016

On December 17th, 2016 Port City Robotics held its first annual RoboCon event showcasing the wonderful efforts of students in Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover, and Pender counties. This event was coordinated by the Brunswick County STEM Council and hosted by Brunswick Community College. We are very grateful for their support and were humbled by the community’s excitement for STEM!

Students, parents, teachers, industry professionals, and community enthusiasts came out from all over to see what our students are doing. Over 200 participants were able to experience a variety of robotics including LEGO Mindstorms, VEX Robotics, FIRST Robotics, SeaPerch, and real industrial robots.
